What is the difference between License/Permit groupings?
Three groups of licenses and permits to be processed by the National Licensing Center (NLC) are defined under the law according to the criteria that must be fulfilled for a license or permit to be approved:
Group 1, includes those licenses and permits for which assessment of criteria fulfillment is based only on self-declarations of the applicant.
The first group are processed exclusively by the NLC.
Group 2, includes those licenses and permits for which assessment criteria fulfillment is based not only on self-declarations of the applicant, but also on verification documents submitted by the applicant.
The second froup are processed exclusively by the NLC.
Group 3, includes those licenses and permits for which, in addition to the types of information provided in points 1 and 2 above, the assessment of criteria fulfillment is based at least in part on the completion of an inspection, testing, interviewing process, or another assessment method.
The third group are processed through the NLC in compliance with a combined procedure with Line Ministries/Institutions/Governmental Agencies that have the competences of processing the respective applications.
